- · Study: what we know & think about food safety is important, but it’s what we DO - our behaviors - that matter most. Food Safety = Behavior. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S096399691930523X
- · [*retweet @NCAgriculture*] Frank Yiannis, FDA deputy commissioner for Food Policy and Response: “We are in the midst of a food revolution. We will see more changes in the next few years than we have seen in the past 20 or 30 years.”
- · [*retweet @NCFarmBureau*] Yiannas gave his take on that feeding 10 billion by 2050 stat:”We’re not going to produce our way out of this. We’ve got to reduce food waste” by updating date labels on food and modernizing the supply chain. #foodsafety #NCFarmBureau
- · [*retweet @NCFarmBureau*] Food systems are changing too, with the emergence of shared kitchens, new foods and online sales. By 2025, Yiannas says, $1 of every $5 food dollars will be spent online. #foodsafety #NCFarmBureau
