• · FDA is working w/ state partners to investigate a cluster of E. coli O157:H7 infections in 7 patients in Maryland tied to Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Chicken Caesar Salad from several MD Sam’s Club locations. This product is distributed to other retailers http://go.usa.gov/xp8fb
• · Testing of an unopened salad purchased by one of the patients identified the presence of E. coli O157 in the Romaine lettuce. Consumers are advised to not eat Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Chicken Caesar Salad, Lot #255406963, Best By Date October 31, 2019.
• · FDA is investigating w/ federal and state authorities and working to determine whether other products may be affected.
