The position will work closely with Feed Program Management staff to plan, direct, evaluate and implement the program’s work relating to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) Animal Food Regulatory Program Standards (AFRPS) and the Feed Program’s use of the USA Food Safety (USAFS) electronic inspection system. This position is also responsible for developing a plan for the operational implementation of new inspection authorities within the Feed Program directly related to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and the Medicated Feed Contract.
