Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to present the inaugural edition of our Office of Partnerships Stakeholder Newsletter!

This stakeholder newsletter from the Office of Partnerships (OP), an integral part of FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), was developed in collaboration with ORA’s Office of Communications and Project Management. It was designed with our many domestic and international governmental partners in mind, with the goal of increasing awareness of the vast array of functions, services, and opportunities provided by OP as we work in collaboration with our ORA and FDA center partners.

We are considering making this newsletter a recurring publication to showcase additional program areas, success stories, new opportunities, or other information of interest to our stakeholders. As we are committed to practicing continuous process improvement (even in our newsletter!), we welcome your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions at OP.Feedback@fda.hhs.gov. We’d love to hear from you!

The newsletter (accessible via the hyperlink, above) highlights some of the key programs and resources coordinated by OP, as well as quick facts, recent accomplishments, and a calendar of upcoming events that may be of interest to our regulatory and public health partners. You will find that links are provided to allow for readers to access more detailed information on specific programs, initiatives, or resources with just one click.

We hope this newsletter provides a useful resource for sharing information and increasing awareness, thus strengthening our collaborative relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial (SLTT), and international partners. I am proud to highlight the excellent work underway in OP, working collaboratively with our SLTT and internal ORA/FDA center partners, to advance public health. I am continually impressed by what talented and dedicated staff across all levels of government can accomplish together. I look forward to what the future has in store for our continued success

Sincerely,

Barbara J. Cassens
