CIFOR is composed of three entities: the main Council, a Governance Committee, and various Workgroups.

The CIFOR Council is made up of various food safety public health partners. In addition, CIFOR has several workgroups designed to focus on various CIFOR projects and ensure participation of the larger foodborne outbreak response community.
